Chauncey |
Chauncey AKA "Chauncerton" or "C" is a flirtatious and lovable chap, he happens to be Boston Terrier born in Portland, OR in April of 2009. He is a natural born ladies man, preferring to lie in the lap of a female to soak up attention and flash his oh so jaunty smile. He goes crazy for Zukes Mini Natural Treats and Plato Duck Strips. He loves chasing around and chomping on his Everlasting Fun Ball which usually has a tasty treat inside. He also can't get enough of his Nylabones, which he props against the base of a lamp or molding of the wall. One of Mr Chauncey's favorite activities is going to daycare. He is definitely a dog and people lover. He has an exuberant passion for play time, which to him is all the time. After a long hard day of play, he wants nothing more than to crawl in someones lap for some affection. At home, he's the family watch dog, he has to keep an eye on what everyone in the house is doing, so much so that he has learned to sleep with one eye open. Before there was Chauncey, his parents decided a Boston would be the perfect addition to their family. They did some research and found a NW breeder they really like. When they arrived, it was love at first sight. His little face was irresistible, so they brought him home and named him after the NBA player Chauncey Billups, because just like a point guard, this pup runs the house. Wherever his mom and dad go, Chauncey is right there to have a say in everything going on. Chancers also has a funny habit of chewing on only one side of his bone. For some reason, he just can't commit to more than one side. One thing Chauncey is willing to commit to and has been dropping hints for is a new Boston brother or sister, but with his puckishness and energy level, mom and dad think that might be a couple of years out.
Oba |
Oba is an English Mastiff, about 9 months big. 140ish lbs. His favorite toy is stuffed bear (sans eyes), he carries it everywhere like a three year old with a blanket. Friends at dog care: Shamu, the baby Borbal, Buster, and all the boxers. Favorite food: anything that doesn't move. Favorite trick: poking his slobbery nose into a strangers crotch or rear (he learned it all by his self!) He’s one of the most calm and friendly dogs that his family has ever owned, he's a real joy!
Lillie |
Lillie aka "Lil", "Lillie Bean" or "Funny Face" (but only when her hair is poking out all over the place) is a fancy little Lhasa Apso born May 2009 in Ridgefield, WA. Miss Lillie loves all treats except for our jar biscuits, unless we offer her one of the dehydrated or jerky treats, she will scarf it down. Her favorite toys are Loofa dogs or anything squeaky. Her favorite activities are walking, fetching and playing with her friends, who normally are Lhasa like mixes. Most dogs whine or bark when they are wanting something like food, water, attention or an out of reach item, but not this pooch, she growls when she is in need. She also is silly and likes to lay on her mom's desk at work so she may greet everyone coming in. When Lillie's mom's furry friend of 13 years passed away from cancer, her mom wasn't quite sure if she was ready for a new pal. After many visits to the Humane Societies and searching online, she still had not fallen in love with any of them until she met a little puffball named Lille, she was a very busy, fuzz ball full of spunk. She was pouncing on all of her sibling,s growling and being top dog. Mom immediately fell in love with her big dog attitude and puppy dog eyes.
